Study Abroad in Germany

The Division has a faculty and student exchange program with Kassel University, Germany, which offers a variety of English-language courses in global affairs, international political economy, and environment. Students pay no tuition in Kassel, but must cover their own room and board and transportation costs. Up to 12 credits may be transferred to their DGA degrees.

Funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), the exchange program ISAP between Kassel University and Rutgers offers graduate students the opportunity to participate in two Masters programs taught completely in English. The exchange also offers a German language course.

MA Global Political Economy

Students interested in studying at Kassel should contact the DGA Graduate Program Director and Prof. Christoph Scherrer. For more information, see the Rutgers/Kassel Exchange Student Guide.
