PhD students Willa Culpepper, Lillian Hussong Present at Genocide Conference

March 30, 2018: Doctoral students Willa-Rae Culpepper and Lillian Hussong participated in the Emerging Scholars Conference on Genocide, Atrocity, and Human Rights on March 27, 2018 which was hosted by the Master of Arts in Holocaust & Genocide Studies Program at Stockton University.  The two presented on the newly launched Genocide & Atrocity Prevention (GAP) Program at Rutgers University, of which they are both founding members.  Led by Professor Alexander Hinton, GAP monitors and provides factual information about ongoing atrocity situations around the globe.  Culpepper and Husong presented their respective GAP case studies at the conference—Syria and Yemen—and how the GAP Program intends to evolve in the future.
