Director's Welcoming Letter | FAQ for Students | Provisional Orientation Day Agenda
Dear Incoming DGA Student,
Welcome to the Division of Global Affairs. As Director, I am writing to congratulate you on your decision to enroll in our program and to encourage you to attend our orientation for new students, which is scheduled to commence at 2:00PM in the afternoon of August 31st.
Whether you are entering our masters or doctoral program, our intent is to offer you a quality education that provides you with the intellectual, analytic, technical and professional skills that will help you succeed, first in the classroom and then in the workplace. An accomplished and diverse faculty drawn from across the Rutgers Newark campus will supervise you. Furthermore, you will be assisted by an excellent DGA administrative staff intent on helping you as you work your way through the requirements of the program.
That process begins with orientation. There, you will have a chance to meet many faculty and staff, familiarize yourself with the requirements of the program, and learn about your fellow students. I look forward to meeting you on August 31st.
