Walther, Olivier

Olivier J. Walther is an Associate Professor at the Department of Border Region Studies (IFG) at the University of Southern Denmark and a Visiting Professor at the Division of Global Affairs at Rutgers University. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Dr. Walther engages with the study of social actors whose main resource comes from the crossing of a national border, such as cross-border policy-makers, traders, and terrorists.  In Western Europe, his primary research interest lies in the comparative study of cross-border metropolitan regions.

Poucki, Sasa (Sasha)

Sasha Poucki is a Visiting Professor in the Division of Global Affairs (DGA) at Rutgers University - Newark. He holds a Ph.D. in Global Affairs from The Division of Global Affairs at Rutgers University and a J.D. from The University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Dr. Poucki is a native of former Yugoslavia.

Vadivelu, Vijayalakshmi

Vijaylakshmi Vadivelu is Evaluation Advisor in the Independent Evaluation Office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She has managed and carried out a number of evaluations of development and crisis related programmes at the global and country levels. Prior to joining UNDP she carried out applied research on governance issues and gender equality in development at the Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore, India. Vijaya holds a Ph.D. in Sociology.

Sur, Rahul

Rahul Sur is Chief of the Peacekeeping Evaluation Section in the Inspection and Evaluation Division of the Office of Internal Oversight Services (IED/OIOS) at United Nations.  He primarily oversees the evaluation of UN peacekeeping missions and has served the United Nations since 1997 in a number of oversight related fields including investigations surrounding misconduct, fraud and corruption.

Uitto, Juha

Dr. Juha I. Uitto is the Director of the Independent Evaluation Office at the Global Environment Facility (GEF), a partnership for international cooperation where 183 countries work together with international institutions, civil society organizations and the private sector to address global environmental issues.

Helgason, Kristinn

Kristinn Sv. Helgason is the Deputy Chief of the Development Cooperation Policy Branch in the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) in the UN Secretariat with responsibility for analysis and reporting on issues related to international development cooperation and operational activities for development of the UN system.
